Software for supply chain, warehousing and distribution.
Inventory, replenishment, warehousing and distribution — custom where off-the-shelf does not fit, integrated where it does, and specified by an analyst certified in production and inventory management (APICS CPIM).
What we do
- Inventory management
- Stock positions you can trust across locations, with replenishment driven by reorder points, consumption and supplier lead times.
- Warehouse operations
- Receiving, putaway, picking, shipping and cycle counting with RF and barcode scanning — custom, or around a warehouse management system you already have.
- Distribution planning
- Distribution requirements planning and transfers between warehouses driven by demand, not by phone calls.
- Procurement
- Purchase orders raised from rules, approvals routed by value, and lead times tracked so shortages are seen coming.
- ERP and WMS integration
- Orders, stock and shipments moving between the ERP, the WMS, carriers and EDI partners without anyone re-keying them.
- Operational dashboards
- Inventory levels, throughput, service levels and exceptions, on data people trust because it comes from one place.
Where it usually hurts
If one of these sounds familiar, it is the kind of problem we are called in for.
- The warehouse runs on spreadsheets beside the ERP, and the two never quite agree.
- Replenishment is one person’s judgement every Monday morning.
- Cycle counts find the same discrepancies every month, and nobody knows where they come from.
- The ERP’s warehouse module is too rigid for how the floor actually works.
- Orders, stock and shipments are re-keyed between the ERP, the WMS and the carrier.
Where this experience comes from
Our lead analyst's career history, described by sector — not an Elarion client list. More on the About page.
- A province-wide, regulated supply chain transformation: inventory, warehousing and distribution workflows, RF and barcode inventory management, and real-time operational dashboards.
- Maintenance stores at a public transit operator: parts issued automatically to work orders, purchase orders from reorder points and lead times, and DRP transfers between warehouses.
- Supply planning across five plants and thirty-five distribution centres, and an integrated business planning and S&OP process.
The ERPs we work in.
Inventory, procurement and distribution in JD Edwards; order, tally and shipping in LumberTrack; and Dynamics 365 alongside both.
Questions buyers ask
- Should we buy a warehouse management system or build one?
- Usually buy, if one fits how your floor works. Build where the process is how you compete, or where the gaps fall exactly in the places that matter — and often the answer is a WMS with a thin custom layer around it.
- Can you work with our existing ERP?
- Yes — JD Edwards, LumberTrack and Dynamics 365 most often. The ERP stays the record; the work is around and alongside it.
- Why does a CPIM matter for software?
- It means the person writing the specification already speaks inventory, planning and replenishment, so the software models how a supply chain actually behaves rather than a developer’s guess at it.
